What is a Small Group?A Small Group at WCC is a gathering of 6-12 people who meet weekly for the purpose of Fellowship, Ministry, Bible Study, and prayer. We have a wide array of different groups currently meeting on a weekly basis. The typical small group will meet weekly for food and Bible Study at the home of one of the group members. The study each group uses is chosen by the group and/or leader, though groups are strongly encouraged to participate in several yearly studies that work in direct correlation with Mike's sermon series. Each group also meets several times a year for fellowship outings and service projects.
Why should I be in a Small Group? At Williamstown Christian Church we believe life change happens best in a small group of people. God consistently used small groups of men and women in Scripture to change the world. For instance:
The Mission of our GroupsBridging the gap between the community and Christ one person and one group at a time.
The Vision for our GroupsTo have 100% of our congregation in a Small Group by 2008.
